TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY
LOCAL ELECTIONS ARE IMPORTANT
The Presidential Primary Election is just two weeks away and the importance of this election cannot be overstated. Regardless of who you support, it is vital that we elect a conservative that will bring back the values of the U.S. Constitution and our American values.
At the last meeting, we had a spokesman for Donald Trump. This meeting, our guest speaker, will be a spokesman from the Ted Cruz camp.
As of today, there are 6 candidates, 3 that I believe are viable candidates. Trump, Cruz and Rubio; I have tried without any success to contact the Rubio people. Called, send emails and messages, and no one has contacted the Tea Party.
The work at the County Commission building is not complete, so we will again meet at the North Gilchrist County Fire Station 2. It is State Road 138 (north end of the County) and about a 1 mile east of SR 129 and about 6 miles West of SR 47. The meeting will be on March 1st…. a Tuesday, at 7 PM.
In addition, we will have to candidates from local races.
Sheriff Bobby Schultz will be there to discuss his past four years in office and his plans for the next four years. The Tea Party has been a big supporter of the Sheriff and we believe that he has done a good job.
Also, Damon Leggett, our Property Appraiser, will join us. Damon is constantly staying a breast of our home values, and will be there to answer any questions you may have. You may not be aware that construction of homes in Gilchrist County and permits to build homes in Gilchrist have increased and many new residences are moving into our community.
Don’t forget please, that we will meet at the North Gilchrist Fire Station on SR 138 between SR 47 and SR 129…Tuesday March 1, at 7 PM.
